Hi, I'm Zan!

I am a Maths and Science tutor, working with students from early learners to KS4. Alongside my teaching, I have professional experience in STEM industries, giving me practical insight into real-world applications of these subjects. With A-levels in Mathematics and Chemistry and top grades (9s and As) in all my Maths and Science GCSEs, I combine academic excellence with hands-on experience to enrich my tutoring.

I believe Maths and Science are not just about memorisation but about problem-solving, pattern recognition, and critical thinking. My approach is tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are preparing for exams, building strong foundations, or growing their confidence in STEM.

My aim is not only to improve grades but to help students develop logical thinking and an appreciation for how the world works. My teaching style is rooted in compassion and respect, following a curiosity-led approach inspired by Montessori methods.
