Hi, I'm Zan!

I'm an experienced English tutor, working with students from early learners to KS4. With an A-level in English Language and a background as an English translator—focusing mainly on poetry and fiction - I bring a strong grasp of both linguistic structure and cultural nuance to my lessons.

I am passionate about classic literature and encourage students to think critically about the texts they explore. My approach is always tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether they are preparing for exams, developing their writing skills, or building confidence in their English abilities.

My aim is not only to help improve grades but also to inspire a lasting love for language and literature. My teaching style is grounded in compassion and respect, following a curiosity-led approach influenced by Montessori principles.
