My Story

Hi, I’m Max, and I have extensive experience tutoring students across a wide range of ages, including mentoring peers in the same year group as me. Drawing from my own academic journey, I use my knowledge, experience, and exam techniques as a foundation for my students, while adapting my approach to suit their individual needs.

In my A levels, I achieved A*A*A* in Maths, Physics, and German. In my GCSEs, I also achieved straight 9s, except for Drama (8) and English Literature (7). This included Further Maths, in which I achieved 96%.

Tutoring children and young adults is a real passion of mine. This passion comes from seeing my students improve lesson by lesson, and I believe that Maths and Science can be incredibly satisfying and uplifting—especially when tackling those really challenging questions. My goal is to help foster this mindset in my students.

I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, such as Rugby and Football, and I also love to travel and explore new places.
