Hi, I’m Katie. I have been tutoring English since I graduated from Keele University with a First Class degree, in English with Creative Writing in 2021.

 

 I have extensive experience in tutoring English from KS1 to KS5. I pride myself on my meticulous approach to tutoring and have a number of tried and tested strategies within my tutoring toolkit. These enable me to effectively tackle the specific areas of English in which my students may need support.

 

 I always take a learner centric approach to my lessons and try to ensure that they feel like a mixture of rigorous and engaging educational activities. I foster a warm, nurturing and supportive classroom environment. Thus ensuring that my pupils feel confident to approach me with any questions they may have. I hope to cultivate a genuine love of English in my students and most importantly, I strive to spark a real love of learning in them.
