Geraldine

Hi, I am Geraldine.

I have been a highly experienced Secondary science school teacher and tutor for over 19 years now. I have worked with students in a wide variety of environments and education settings. In addition, I have been an AQA, OCR and BTEC examiner for several years. I have guided many students over the years from Key stage 3 to adult learners successfully through their exams.

My experience as an examiner and teacher provides a subject-specific insight and approach. This
allows me to identify where students’ strengths and weaknesses are enabling me to offer tailored
lessons to help students reach their full potential. I believe a vital characteristic of this is to facilitate
a safe environment where a student feels comfortable, at ease, and able to voice their concerns so
that together we can build their confidence and reach their goals.

I may spare time I enjoy a good walk with a coffee and a little piano playing.
