My Story
Hi, I'm Bobbie, I'm a bit of a quirky one and spend most of my free time travelling around the UK in my trusty car and tent.

I teach both Mathematics and Psychology. I know what it's like to fail as I failed most of my GCSE exams. However, when I was in my mid-20s, I was sick of working dead-end jobs and wanted to do more with my life so I applied for university and was offered a place on the condition that I passed my maths and English GCSE before the first year.

The maths teacher that I had was amazing! He made maths fun (which is a hard job to do) and I started to really understand the subject, and when I started to understand it, I started to enjoy it. Thankfully with his help, I passed my maths exam and was able to continue studying for my psychology degree.

During my third year at university, we had to do a lot of research for our final paper. This involved gathering data through our investigations and there was so much maths involved in this! It was here that I realised that I didn't just have a passion for psychology, I also had a passion for maths!
I honestly believe that if I did not have such an amazing maths teacher, I would not be where I am today. As a result of his guidance and encouragement, I went on to study to become a teacher... and here I am.

Learning with me means that the student always comes first; I think it is really important to listen to the student and make sure their needs are being met. I am more than happy to explain something a hundred different ways until it is understood, I have an archive of resources at hand and I will use every one of them if needed.
