Our personalised approach, combined with a dedicated team of nearly 30 expert tutors, ensures that every student receives the individual attention and support they need to succeed.

Our Story

Lytham Tutors was born out of frustration with the rigidity and substandard quality often seen in mainstream education. Driven by a passion for helping students achieve their potential, we set out in 2018 to create a better alternative. Today, our business has grown enormously, with two distinct arms: one operating from our vibrant centre in Lytham, and the other working with local authorities across the North West to educate young people with additional needs.

At the end of 2024, we hit a milestone of delivering over 300 hours of tuition in a single month. Currently, we are proud to have over 100 students on roll, each benefitting from our tailored, results-driven approach.

Our Services

We offer tuition in almost every subject, from primary-level education all the way up to A-Levels. Additionally, we provide specialist services such as dentistry, medicine, and veterinary science interview preparation, as well as personalised revision timetables. Our expertise extends to supporting SEND learners, ensuring that everyone—regardless of ability—has access to high-quality education. Many of our staff are experienced SENCOs from mainstream schools and hold SEND diplomas, bringing invaluable knowledge and understanding to their teaching.

Our Philosophy

At Lytham Tutors, we focus on building confidence and honing exam techniques. Many students already possess the knowledge and passion but struggle with self-belief or the ability to translate their understanding into exam success. By addressing these barriers, we empower students to achieve their best.

Our Facilities

Our newly refurbished centre offers a state-of-the-art learning environment designed to inspire and motivate. Equipped with 60-inch smart screens, brand-new laptops, LED smart lighting, and smart heating, we ensure that our students are comfortable and focused during every session.

 

Community Impact

We’re deeply committed to giving back to the community. Our completely free dentistry and medicine mentorship programme connects prospective and current students across the country, providing invaluable support at no cost. We’ve also delivered talks at local colleges, helping students secure places on prestigious university courses.
